Dear BTNOLA Supporters,

We wanted to inform you of the current response of Breakthrough New Orleans to the novel coronavirus, COVID-19. Isidore Newman School made the decision to begin an organized, temporary campus closure. As our host organization and partner, BTNOLA is following suit as a health and safety precaution.

This means that all in-person Breakthrough programming and events are postponed, including our annual Spring Fundraiser at Rock N’ Bowl that was scheduled on Sunday, March 29th. Similar to other nonprofits, we are concerned about the financial challenges that will arise due to the current circumstances. However, we will continue to plan for our 2020 Summer Academy. With our students being out of school for such an extended period of time, the academic support that we offer in Writing, Math, Science, and Literature will be highly needed. We would appreciate any donations so that we will be able to fully serve our students and families.
