Ashley is responsible for planning and overseeing program operations, including the Saturday School program and Summer Academy. In addition to her role, she also serves as an Upper School Advisor and Middle School Enrichment Teacher at Isidore Newman School. She holds a B.A. in Biology and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Xavier University of Louisiana.
Tina is responsible for assisting with the design, implementation, and management of all development initiatives. She holds a B.A. in Communications from the University of Alabama and a Master of Business Administration from the University of New Orleans.

The Dean of Faculty is responsible for the daily operations and design of the Summer Academy including program design, curriculum development, and staff recruitment, training and management.
High School Program Coordinator
New Orleans native Khari Pouncy began his journey with Breakthrough New Orleans over ten years ago. He served as a former student, school year volunteer, and Teaching Fellow for four consecutive summers. Khari is currently pursuing a Master’s of Arts degree in School Counseling from the University of Holy Cross.
Each summer, this team is made up of four experienced teachers who provide support to Teaching Fellows in all aspects of planning and executing an academically rigorous class in the core subjects of Writing, Math, Science, and Literature.
